Family Support Department
The Family Support department focuses on the family as a whole and is most often the initial contact for Centre services. Family Support Workers document current and presenting concerns as well as developmental and family history. They provide an introduction and orientation to the services and assist families to complete required paperwork.
The Family Support Department also offers the following services:

Referral follow-up and services coordination

Coordination of multidisciplinary team assessments

Connecting families and children with community resources

Assisting families and therapists with application/funding requests

Advocacy
Referrals may be made by filling out a South Okanagan & Similkameen Early Childhood Services referral form. Forms are available from your doctor’s office, public health nurses, Ministry of Children & Family Development office, Infant Development Program, at the Child Development Centre, or by clicking the referral form link below.
